Crief-Lodges-Stanbrook-AbbeyThe Crief Lodges are located in a peaceful location in the grounds of Stanbrook Abbey on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. The lodges are run by the nuns of Stanbrook Abbey who moved into their modern eco-monastery in May 2009. Hospitality has been a traditional work of Benedictines since their foundation in the sixth century. The monastery is in a separate location on the property. However, both the monastery and the lodges blend naturally into the beautiful rural surrounds. Each lodge has two bedrooms and is fully self-contained and sleeps up to 5 people.
