While not strictly a tourist facility, Casa Camino is the perfect escape for those looking to revive the body, mind and soul in the peace and tranquility of picturesque rural Scotland. A small community of trained spiritual directors are on hand to answer questions or guide visitors in a spiritual retreat following the program ‘Pathways to Personal Renewal’.
Accommodation is in spacious, well-furnished guest rooms and the house is well heated. Scenic views over the green rolling hills and across Loch Leven are a feature and walking and cycling paths are nearby. A small chapel is on the premises.

Isle of Cumbrae – College of the Holy Spirit:
The College is a combination of a Visit Scotland 3 Star Guest House and a Christian Retreat House. It is located next to Britain’s smallest cathedral, The Cathedral of The Isles. Both were built at the same time in 1851 by the architect William Butterfield. The College was originally built for students of theology in the Scottish Episcopal Church. The guest house allows visitors to enjoy a unique combination of modern luxury and homemade meals in a building full of history and character. It offers a selection of 16 bedrooms. These include single, twin or double rooms and two family rooms. Five of the bedrooms are ensuite and there is also a ground floor bedroom and bathroom which is specifically set up for those who are physically less able. Guests have the use of our library and two common rooms. The Cathedral is open every day for services or simply quiet times and reflection.
Isle of Iona – Bishop’s House
Bishop’s House is the perfect location for group and individual retreats on Iona. We are located in the village and near to the Abbey, a haven of peace away from the tourist throng. Set in our own grounds, the House overlooks the sound of Iona with access to one of Iona’s white sand beaches at the bottom of the garden. The House is open from March until October for full board guests and can be booked for individuals, small groups, or exclusive use groups, enabling them to have the whole house to themselves. The library provides theological works and resources for retreats, as well as general reading material. Bishop’s House is an empowering space that helps our guests to relax on this holy island. Accommodation is in single or twin rooms, and all guests have access to a spacious guest lounge, warm wood panelled library, and St. Columba’s Chapel in the centre of the House.
