Managed to secure a room before they closed for renovations. Perfect accommodation for a visitor to London. Look forward to trying out the new rooms next year.
Allen Hall is the seminary of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Westminster, and is located in the affluent, upmarket suburb of Chelsea, in central London. Allen Hall is perfectly situated to discover all the treasures London has to offer.
Allen Hall was originally the home of Henry VIII’s Chancellor, St Thomas More. The Mulberry Tree that St Thomas planted in the 1500’s still flourishes today in the seminary garden, one of the largest and most peaceful gardens in Chelsea.
The seminary was totally re-furbished in 2019 and the guest rooms are fresh and well-furnished. Breakfast is served daily.
The centre is available for tourist accommodation during the months of July & August, 2020 only, whilst the seminary is on summer break. Rooms are reasonably priced for a property in such a prime location.
NOTE: Allen Hall is closed for the summer, and accommodation will not be available in 2020, due to the current COVID outbreak.
