Although the directions to find the place were specific, we still had trouble finding it as we did not know referenced bridges, etc. Bare bones accommodation with spotty hot water. It was near several good restaurants.
Casa Carburlotto was very central and very quiet which was great -for a busy city !! On the other hand- the mosquitoes were terrible at night -when we were trying to sleep !
A very well located guesthouse, pleasant staff, simple, comfy rooms and all in all a good experience.
Great value for money and super clean. Quiet, even though our room overlooked a canal. Rooms aren't fancy but simple and comfortable enough. Location is excellent - walk everywhere. Friendly staff and would definitely stay here again.
Overlooking a quiet canal in the Santa Croce district, this conservative B&B is housed in a former convent . Guests have a choice of simple guest rooms with tiled or marble floors and fitted with a washbasin. Bathrooms are shared, and air-conditioning is available for a surcharge. Upgraded rooms come with free Wi-Fi, private bathroom facilities, and canal or garden views. Family rooms sleep up to 4 guests. Most guest rooms overlook a canal or an inner courtyard.
A continental breakfast is served in a no-frills dining area, with canal views. There are also 2 lounge rooms (1 with a TV), as well as a chapel, a utility room for guests to make tea, coffee and prepare snacks, and a garden (a luxury in Venice!) furnished with tables and chairs.
Casa Carbulotto is a clean, simple and well-priced guest house with restaurants, shops and Vaporetto stops close by.
