The location is brilliant and the room was as expected. I had a double that had an ocean view and the sound of the water was fabulous. Please note that this price does not include any breakfast and the Sister (who did not speak any other languages) was very unhelpful. Keep your receipts of your deposit and room payment as they asked me to pay again when checking out. There was a lovely language student staying here at the same time and she was very helpful with tips regarding the immediate area.
Fabulous location. Room was very comfortable with great views. Unfortunately the nun who was on reception did not speak a word of English so unable to get much local information. But loved Cefalu and would visit again.
Amazing views. The location can't be bettered - I would stay here forever. Great, hospitable staff and lovely old town. This is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday. Can't wait to go back.

Friends recommend we stay here and we were very happy. Its not flash but it is comfortable. The views are to die for and we had plenty of change left over for visiting the many attractions in this region.
Who would have thought!! A convent on a beach!! Step out of the convent and on to the sand, awash with sunlovers, beach umbrellas, boats and families enjoying the sunshine and splashing about in the cool, clean water.
When the building was constructed in the 15th century it may have been isolated and secluded - a tranquil location well away from the temptations in the local village. However, the village came to the convent and now this affordable, brilliantly located guest house is right in the historic centre of the township.
All guest rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and air conditioning.The roof terraces are furnished with deckchairs, umbrellas, tables and chairs so that guests can relax and enjoy the magical view over the village and across the water - and the best ever sunsets. Breathe in the fresh sea air and nod off the sound of waves lapping on the sand.
The property is unpretentious - after all it is home to a community of nuns but is clean, safe and comfortable with everything a traveller could wish for in terms of facilities and amenities.
However the view - it has to be 6-star.
