Haus St. Benedikt is in a spacious wing of a fully functioning monastery of the Austrian Benedictine Congregation, and is easily recognised by two large, cross-shaped fresco featured on the facade. The guesthouse is a well-priced and comfortable option, handily located in Salzburg's historic Old Town, and close to numerous restaurants, coffee houses, shops and tourist attractions. The monastery and the adjacent religious buildings, including Salzburg’s magnificent Cathedral are in the oldest quarter of Salzburg.
The refurbished, ensuite guest rooms are in excellent condition and decorated in contemporary style. The rooms are well-kept, spacious and fitted with modern amenities.
