The views are spectacular and the nuns are lovely. Not expensive and an excellent breakfast is served. Best to have a car at hand to have a look around the area.

This hotel is clean and comfortable and is affordable. It is a great place to stay and the rooms are clean and well cared for. I think for the price its a good deal. The location is very good with wonderful views.

Ancelle Sorrento is ideally located for exploring the attractions of this beautiful area. The Amalfi Coast lies to the south, Naples to the north, Pompeii, Mt Vesuvius and Ercolano to the east. Capri and the islands in the Gulf can be reached by ferry from the marina at Castellammare di Stabia, a few minutes walk from the convent.
This is a religious guesthouse/hotel of a very high standard, with well maintained, spacious guestrooms equipped with in-room flat TV and modern amenities. As the sun sets and the temperature drops, head up to the rooftop terrace, the perfect place to watch the sun go down. However, for full 360 deg views of the islands, mountains, the bay and the coastline take the Funivia del Monte Faito (cable car) to the top of the mountain. Entrance to the cable car is situated near the convent.
