We recently spent a week at the accommodation Rivotorto in Malta Absolutely fabulous experience. Lovely clean and comfortable rooms. Staff friendly and very accomadating .Lovely breakfast each morning. Walkable distance to local buses.Peaceful and restful environment. Would highly recommend staying here.Thank you for hosting us.
My stay at Rivotorto was absolutely wonderful. The staff were very attentive to your needs, cleaned my room almost every day, comfortable bed, and very quiet other than the morning church bells. I would definitely stay there again. Working with the staff at Good night God bless we’re very professional and helpful and did follow up to make sure connections were being made, which was very appreciated if phone numbers were not available. They were great in doing that leg work for you. They are my new go to for future travel info on places to stay. A bonus for single traveling women. Thank you all for your hard work and kindness. I enjoyed my stay at the Rivotorto. The staff was amazing! I’ll definitely recommend this guesthouse and will certainly stay there again.
Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Clean , close to the bus stop for Valetta or a trip to Gozo, wonderful breakfast and the staff are marvellous! I'd stay again.
Wonderful people. Great value
We enjoyed our stay at Rivotorto guesthouse. Everything was clean. Air conditioning was welcome and effective. The breakfasts included freshly cooked eggs, bacon etc as well as continental choices. The staff were all keen to assist and very pleasant, especially the manager who provided maps and advice on navigating our way around Malta. Also took the trouble to order Uber transportation for us.
This is a great place to stay in Malta. the staff are fantastic and the whole house is well managed and kept in sparkling condition. Lots of interesting stores, walks and local eating places nearby and only a short bus ride to the harbour. Would definitely stay here again.
Rivotorto Retreat House is the property of the Conventual Franciscan Order, one of the three branches of the First Order of St Francis. The priests are resident at the Friary in Birkirkara, and take a 'hands-on' role in the management of the retreat house. They are ably assisted by a small band of highly capable, service oriented and helpful lay staff.
Rivotorto is a most welcoming place and is situated in suburban Birkirkara, 5 km from Valletta, Malta's capital city. Ancient alleyways and narrow lanes wind through the old town which is home to St Helen's Basilica, one of Malta's most beautiful churches. Guestrooms are clean and spacious and some come with views over the town. All rooms are equipped with ensuite bathrooms and air-conditioning and free Wi-fi is provided throughout the property.
Travellers and tourists are invited to stay at Rivotorto, be they individuals, couples, families or part of a group. Pilgrims and travellers on a spiritual journey are also most welcome. Restaurants, bars and cafes are close by and it is a short walk to the heart of Birkirkara. The sights, the iconic waterfront, the palaces, grand churches and the museums of Valletta are only a short bus ride away.
