This guesthouse is in a dream location on the edge of a beautiful lake, and the little village is lively and full of cute little shops and places to eat. The ferry stops nearby and we were never at a loss for things to do. In fact, we were so busy seeing everything, I think I need a holiday!
Location! Location! Location! In an idyllic location on the shores of Lake Garda, the Padre G. Nascimbeni holiday house lies in a peaceful and exceptionally picturesque lake village. The house overlooks the lakes' crystalline waters from the front facing windows. A mouth-watering array of colourful cafes and outdoor restaurants line a long stretch of a pedestrian walkway, between the house and the waters edge.
All guestrooms are fitted with an en-suite bathroom and all meals are available if required. A small chapel is open to guests and Mass is often celebrated by a visiting priest.
A raised terrace faces the lake and provides an ideal space to watch the sun set or the expensive yachts and tour boats passing by. Or wander the cobbled laneways and discover quirky, hole-in-the-wall shops selling souvenirs, handmade jewellery and pottery, chic boutiques and an art gallery or two.
