Loved the view, the sunsets and the peaceful sleeps in the so quiet rooms of Villa Crawford. Fantastico!
So handy to some amazing beaches and close to Sorrento as well. It takes about 30 minutes on foot. The rooms are well equipped and the food here is delicious, but we did enjoy eating alfresco in the town. Highlight of each day was having a nightcap on the roof terrace. The views are to die for. The coast of Campania is quite magical.

What a location! Perched on a scenic clifftop in the coastal resort town of Sant'Agnello, and with extraordinary views over the Gulf of Naples to Vesuvius, Villa Crawford was once the home of American writer Francis Marion Crawford, who died in 1909. In 1954 the Crawford family donated the sprawling property to the religious Institute of Maria Ausiliatrice, who opened the doors to receive overnight guests.
The property was fully renovated in 2013 and returned to its former glory by the sisters, who now have lay staff assisting them.
Guestrooms, ensuites and the charming restaurant have been renovated to a high standard. The vast gardens are meticulously maintained. Many guests enjoy spectacular, ocean views from their room. Or breathe in the fresh sea air and the tranquility from a number of scenic terraces. Unwind while watching the spectacular sunsets.
Overall, Villa Crawford is an outstanding religious house of hospitality and a gracious and welcoming home away from home, in which to relax and recharge the batteries.
