The house is surrounded by a large area of parkland and is only a few steps from San Damiano and the Basilica of Santa Chiara. Many of the guest rooms have views over the city of Assisi or across to Santa Maria degli Angeli. The guesthouse is open all year round.

The House on the Lake overlooks the placid waters of Lake Trasimeno and is located in an ancient fishing village in the municipality of Castiglione del Lago. The building was once a school which has been converted into a lovely guest house, with spacious ensuite guest rooms, some with views of the lake.
